ERDF grant

This project is co-founded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Research at UMCU (including by Loek Leenen MD, PhD, FACS and Leo Koenderman PhD) suggests that Point-of-Care analysis of neutrophil phenotypes can be used to take a first step towards Immuno-based precision medicine for IC traumatological interventions. The combination of recently developed automated point-of-care flow cytometry devices and the ECLIPSE algorithm developed by Radboud University of Nijmegen make it possible to bring this point-of-care analysis to the clinic. FlowView Diagnostics BV has partnered with Radboud University Nijmegen and UMCU to convert the available technology into a product under its own development.
